Beyond Galaxyland coming to PC and Consoles later this year

Embark on an exhilarating interstellar journey with the brand-new RPG that takes you on a thrilling adventure across multiple planets!

Label revealed the upcoming release of Beyond Galaxyland, a 2.5D adventure-RPG that takes place in outer space. Crafted by Sam Enright, a developer and music producer from Chicago, this sci-fi movie-inspired game is set to debut on various platforms including PC, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation™5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One in the latter part of 2024.

A fresh approach to the cherished RPG quests from the past, gamers will bounce around numerous unique planets, soaring through lush jungles, vibrant cities, and futuristic casinos.

Beyond Galaxyland combines traditional platforming and puzzle-solving with an interactive turn-based combat system, featuring thrilling boss fights against the Universe’s most notorious criminals.

“I’m a huge fan of classic turn-based RPGs from the mid and late-1990s, and some of my favorites – such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII –have provided me a galaxy’s worth of inspiration when developing Beyond Galaxyland.”

“I wanted to make a game that felt uniquely cinematic, while being within a familiar genre. I hope when gamers play it, they’ll appreciate how Beyond Galaxyland’s pacing will often feel closer to a movie than a videogame” said Sam Enright.

About the Game:

Take to the stars in the retro-futuristic adventure-RPG, Beyond Galaxyland! Spanning the very cosmos, join Doug and his plucky, gun-toting guinea pig, Boom Boom, on an exhilarating, planet-hopping journey to save Earth itself.

Accompanied by Doug’s pet guinea pig – the pistol-wielding Boom Boom – and a sentient robot called MartyBot, together you must defend the world against an all-powerful entity known only as ‘The End’, before it conquers the Universe itself…

Beyond Galaxyland launches later in 2024 on the Epic Store, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
